Hooray for UD Quality Control...again!

So, today I got a blaster box of 2019-20 UD Series 1 that I purchased on eBay. Opened it up and at first glance was somewhat excited to see that that the Oversized YG that was included was of Jack Hughes!
However, when I pulled the card out of the box, my excitement turned to dismay, when I discovered that the brain trust at UD had managed somehow to affix the magnetic security device/strip right across the card itself!
How in the world do you manage that????? Needless to say, I sent off an email to UD 'customer care'...let's see if they'll replace the card or not.

Just an update...
...sent that Jack Hughes Oversized Young Guns into Upper Deck for replacement...
...and Surprise! Suprise!
They sent me a regular Jack Hughes Youngs Card instead, in absolute Mint condition to boot!

So, yay for Upper Deck standing behind their product.

It will be interesting to see...
...I bought another blaster box recently, that had an Oversized Quinn Hughes Young Guns in it, badly damaged along one side. Contacted UD and they told me to send it in...so I will be looking forward to seeing what they replace it with. Maybe a regular sized Quinn Hughes YG...
...I'll let you know whenever I get it!

So, here's the latest update...
...I mentioned previously that I had pulled a badly damaged Quinn Hughes Oversized Young Guns card. I sent it in to Upper Deck for replacement and today I received a package from Upper Deck that contained two Oversized Young Guns cards...

And they're both in NearMint to Mint condition to boot! Kudos to Upper Deck for replacing damaged cards!
