2020-2021 Upperdeck series 1

Hey guys,

I went and bought a box of 20-21 UD Series one at my LCS and there is an unannounced parallel. In ths same pack, I had 2 Larkins back to back. Problem is the front photos were different. Everything else matched up. I researched and some cards have a photo variation where player is wearing street clothes or a suit. Just wanted to make people aware that they exist.

No LaFreniere though.

How many YGs did you pull? I've watched over a dozen 20-21 Series 1 hobby box breaks on Youtube, and so far most of the boxes are producing at least 7 YGs, and a couple of boxes 8 YGs, and 1 box produced 6 YGs, 1 YG Canvas, 1 YG Exclusive and 1 YG Acetate. Seems like the odds of pulling YGs are somewhat better in this years' product than the odds stated on the boxes.

One guy on youtube, (who appeared to just be opening boxes for himself), opened 2 boxes, and in the first pulled a Lafreniere YG, and in the 2nd a Lafreniere YG Canvas...there's luck for ya!

And yeah, I saw that there are the variation cards of players dressed in their suits, (most likely on the way into the arena). There are also French variations, although I believe those were announced previously.

I had 6 young guns and a LeTang Clearcut. I did find a French version of Oliver Bjorkstrand after sorting base. Nothing great.

Very interesting. I was unable to get any boxes at a reasonable price this release unfortunately. I do love YG Rookies....

I haven't seen any 'big skate' cards out of the packs I have opened so far. I'll keep my eyes open for them though!
